Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 19, 2026
KonnichiCollect wants konnichicollect.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. You should be able to browse what we source, read about how we work, and get in touch with us regardless of how you access the web.
How we build for accessibility
Accessibility is considered as the site is built, by hand. No automated accessibility overlay or third-party widget is installed on this site.
- Semantic HTML structure (nav, main, footer, section) so screen readers and other assistive technology can follow the page outline.
- A skip-to-main-content link at the top of every page for keyboard users.
- Alt text on every image on the site, so nothing meaningful is conveyed by picture alone.
- Keyboard navigation throughout, including the main navigation and the mobile menu, with visible focus indicators.
- ARIA attributes on the interactive menu (aria-expanded, aria-hidden, aria-label) so its state is announced.
- Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting: animated transitions are reduced when your operating system or browser is configured to limit motion.
- Responsive layout that adapts to small screens without horizontal scrolling.
Standards we reference
This site is built with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA, published by the W3C. Referencing WCAG 2.1 AA as a build target does not constitute a certification or conformance audit, and we do not represent that the site fully conforms to any particular WCAG level. Accessibility work is ongoing.
Known limits
Our product listings live on eBay and Mercari, which are run by those companies. We do not control how accessible those marketplaces are, and this statement does not cover them.
Tell us if something does not work
